Islamabad, Mar 19: Pakistan will receive an air surveillance system and the state-of-the-art ground radar system from the US to enhance the operation capabilities of its troops along the Taliban infested western border with Afghanistan. The US Secretary of State Colin Powell in his one-on-one with Pakistan Foreign Minister Khurshid Kasuri promised to provide the air surveillance and radar system as a part of capacity building measures to enhance the capabilities of Pakistani troops stationed in the border areas. Powell made this promise while discussing the anti-terror drive on at the Pak-Afghan border with Kasuri in the backdrop of current military operation in South Waziristan.1 Bureau Report
