Nagpur, Oct 18: Maharashtra government will extend all possible cooperation to the Centre for bringing back "global terrorist" Dawood Ibrahim from Pakistan, wanted in connection with a number of cases including the Mumbai bomb blasts, deputy chief minister Chhagan Bhujbal said today. "State police has definite information on the whereabouts of Dawood and even exact location of his bungalow in a Pakistan city and it was exchanged with the investigating agencies on many occasions," Bhujbal, who holds home portfolio, told reporters here today.

He said that the state was in touch with the Centre after the US declared Dawood as "global terrorist".

"During the recent visit of Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani to Mumbai the issue was taken up with him," Bhujbal said.

On continuance of Congress-NCP alliance in the state, Bhujbal said, it was up to the high commands of both the parties in their larger interest to keep the Shiv Sena-BJP at bay.

"I had taken the initiative in forging the Congress-NCP alliance when the DF-government was formed four years back," he claimed.
