"We have some trouble in having a tie-up with the
parties which have connections with the BJP. Under these
circumstances, how can we have a tie up with a party which is
closer to fundamentalist outfits like RSS and VHP,” TNCC
working president E V K S Elangovan told reporters here on his
return from the Shimla conclave of the party.
He, however, said the Congress high command would take a final decision on alliances with other parties in the state only after the Lok Sabha elections are announced. The party would have alliances with "secular parties" only, he added.
