'Chapter One' will be published by HarperCollins India. Commissioning Editor for Lifestyle at HarperCollins India, Debasri Rakshit, says, "Sapna's outspoken voice and fearless endeavours - whether fighting against animal cruelty and acid attacks or empowering underprivileged women to lead better lives - have inspired a whole generation of women to think and live independently. We are very happy to have this opportunity to publish her first book."

Sapna, who is associated with fields of media, hair styling, fashion, writing, photography, music, entertainment and reality television, says "I hope I can help break many silences by voicing mine. I know the power of truth is far greater than the shadow of lies. This book will help me transform fear into freedom."

As an entrepreneur, Sapna founded the funky celebrity hair salon Mad-O-Wot 12 years ago in Mumbai. She was a contestant in Season 6 of reality TV show 'Bigg Boss', has written bitingly intimate weekly newspaper columns, acted in a play on Nirbhaya and runs an avant-garde clothing line, SoFake - all of which have made her a poster child for feminism in India.
