The 'America's Got Talent' host, who split from the 'Beautiful' hitmaker in 2014 summer after six years of marriage, has allegedly signed a lucrative deal with publishers Simon and Schuster because his estranged wife refused to give him 30 million dollars in their divorce settlement, the Mirror reported.

A source said that Carey was willing to give Cannon 10 million dollars but he declined the offer and demanded 30 million dollars.

According to sources, the 45-year-old singer kept telling her TV host husband that she was not going to give him a penny more than 10 million dollars and then he told Carey that he could write a book and get 30 million dollars and much more for a movie deal for all of the crap she put him through over the years.

An insider spilled the beans that Carey was angry, devastated and scared that Cannon will reveal her inner most secrets and make her look like a desperate fool.

Cannon and the American singer currently co-parent their twins Moroccan and Monroe.
