Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee left London for New Delhi on Tuesday morning at the conclusion of his deeply satisfying visit to Russia, US and UK.
The three-nation tour served to enlarge and deepen the areas of understanding and agreement with our friends and partners, Vajpayee told newsmen shortly before his departure. During the 24-hour hectic official visit in London, he had a 90-minute luncheon meeting with British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
He also held discussions with Home Secretary David Blunkett and international development secretary Clare Short and attended a reception in his honour attended by about 600 dignitaries including about 100 MPs. Bureau Report
