BJP`s ideology on temple not to be forced on allies: Naidu
Chandigarh, July 13: A day after BJP agreed to consider VHP demand for a legislation on Ram temple at Ayodhya, party chief Venkaiah Naidu today said the ideology of the party would not be forced upon its allies in the NDA.

"Legislation to facilitate construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya is not possible till allies of the BJP agree to the party's ideology," Naidu said here addressing party legislators from northern region.
"The construction of temple is the ideology of BJP, but enactment of law on this issue will not be forced upon party's allies in the NDA," he said.
Admitting that differences are there between BJP and the VHP, Naidu said the organisations have different thinking.
"It is not possible that on each and every issue both the BJP and the VHP are unanimous in their decision," he said.
"The BJP and the VHP are different organisations," Naidu said.
