New Delhi, June 03: All India Tennis Association today announced a travel grant of Rs 25,000 each for three promising junior players. Chatwinder Singh, Tushar Liberhan and Divij Sharan will be the beneficiaries, according to a press release from the AITA here.

The 17-year-old Chatwinder Singh was the winner of ITF Grade 1 junior event in Sri Lanka in February this year. He had been ranked as high as 89 in the juniors list. His schedule in the coming weeks include the ITF satellite circuit in Mumbai, Chandigarh and Delhi.

Liberhan, 16, was the sub-junior national champion in 2001, and though currently ranked 312, has enjoyed as high a position as 108. He will be participating in the ITF junior circuit in Morocco, which involves a series of Grade 2 and Grade 4 events.

Sharan, 16, who plays doubles regularly with Liberhan, will be travelling with the latter to the African continent. Sharan is the reigning sub-junior national champion and is ranked 190.
