Monaco, Apr 21: Phil Mickelson shrugged of his tag as the best golfer never to have won a major when he triumphed in Augusta nine days ago after 46 previous, fruitless attempts to land one of the sport's big four titles.
Now Henman, four times a Wimbledon semi-finalist, believes the American's Masters victory can serve as a blueprint for another push at the All England Club this year.
"He was obviously very clear in the way that he felt he was developing his game," said Henman.
"I feel in the last six months my game has turned around so quickly and I feel that the way I am playing and the way I am beginning to use the abilities I have got, there's no reason why I can't follow a similar path."
