Jabalpur, Sept 29: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh today asserted that Congress would not have any electoral alliance with Bahujan Samaj Party in the forthcoming assembly elections in the state. "The Congress will not have any alliance, not even a secret pact, with BSP for the elections," Singh told reporters here.

Alleging that Mulayam Singh has developed a `soft corner' towards BJP as his government in Uttar Pradesh was `indirectly' sponsored by BJP, Singh said "while pressure was built on former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati over Taj corridor issue, former minister and BJP leader Lalji Tondon was left out from the probe".
To another query, the chief minister said the list of Congress candidates for the assembly polls has been prepared and sent to central election committee of the party for approval and added that the final list was expected to be announced by October 15 next.

Expressing hope that Congress would win atleast 125 to 135 seats out of total 230 in MP, Singh said that he has no faith in various election surveys.

Refuting allegations made by Uma Bharati and other BJP leaders that electricity charges were waived off for farmers keeping in mind the assembly polls, he said it would not make state electricity board (MPSEB) bankrupt.
To a query, he said that he would suggest a probe by human rights commission into the alleged manufacture of bombs by RSS workers.
