Sinha expresses shock, sorrow on Istanbul attack
New Delhi, Nov 22: External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha has written to his British counterpart Jack Straw expressing shock and sorrow at the cowardly terrorist attack on the British Consultate in Istanbul on Thursday which killed the British Consul General and eight nationals of that country.

"This act demonstrated that the war on terrorism is truly
global and can be combated by concerted international
cooperation," Sinha said in his letter.
"India stands along with the UK ready to contribute to this global coalition," he added.
