Net4india to invest Rs 40cr for expansion
Internet company Net4india is planning to invest Rs 40 crore over the next one year for expanding its operations including scaling up its data centres across the country.
Internet company Net4india is planning to invest Rs 40 crore over the next one year for expanding its operations including scaling up its data centres across the country.
"We would be investing about Rs 40 crore within one year, for expansion, in the country," Jasjit Sawhney, CEO of Net4india, said in New Delhi.
Elaborating on the expansion plans, Sawhney said Net4india, which recently started its Calcutta office, would begin operations in Ahmedabad and Chandigarh over the next four weeks. "We are also looking at expansion of data centres. We have six centre, at the moment and all the centres are scalable," Sawhney said.
Net4india, currently has data centres in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Pune. He said that part of the investment earmarked for the next one year would also be chanellised for new initiatives and brandbuilding exercises. The investment would be funded partly through internal accruals and balance from the parent -- UK-based Sawhney Group. Sawhney said that Net4india expected to clock revenues to the tune of Rs 30 crore in 2001-02.
