Mumbai, June 07: In a major reshuffle exercise, City Police Commissioner R S Sharma has transferred 29 assistant Commissioners of Police, including Ambadas Pote who headed the investigations into the recent explosions in Ghatkopar and vile Parle. This is the first major reshuffle of senior officers after Sharma took over as commissioner early this year. Among the ACPs transferred to the Crime Branch are S D Yenpure, Suresh Wallishetty, S R Inamdar and V G Patil. Those posted to local armoury are U V Pol, N K Hirekhan, M N Wadhane and R D Vasaikar.

Those transferred to special branch (protection) are N M Askulkar, R C Sankath and S B Dani. ACPs M S Ingle, S K Thakur, A B Pote, P M Wadkar and P K Bhoi were transferred to Dahisar division, Yellow Gate division, Saki Naka division and Kherwadi division respectively.
M B Rathod and V M Sarsar attached to 'L' division have been posted to Headquarters (coordination) and Samata Nagar division respectively. ACPs B S Khambe, A S Walanj and P T Ashtekar were shifted to Deonar, D N Nagar and Sion divisions respectively. V B Sharma has been moved to Azad Maidan division, D M Dhawle shifted to Agripada division while R L Pawar has been transferred to police welfare division. Bureau Report
