Chiesa added another in the closing minutes as Siena beat
visiting Lecce 2-1 in a match between Series A newcomers.
Taddei netted the first goal for the home team in the
12th minute at the Artemio Franchi Stadium, three minutes
after Ernesto Chevanton had put Lecce in front following an
all-Uruguayan combination with Guillermo Giacomazzi yesterday.
Chiesa, a former star of Lazio, Parma and Fiorentina, sealed the victory for Siena with a low, left-footed shot in the 76th.
Minutes earlier, Siena's newly signed Norwegian striker Tore Andre Flo squandered a clear scoring chance and Lecce had one goal disallowed.
