Pratapgarh, Aug 30: A day after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav announced withdrawal of "politically motivated" Pota cases, district magistrate Mohd Mustafa, who booked independent legislator Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya under Pota, has demanded Z-plus security cover. Mustafa had requested government to provide him NSG commandos, official sources said here today. Mustafa was sanctioned z-grade security last month but the authorities had not complied with the orders. With the assumption of office by new government, Mustafa had requested for Z-plus security cover, the sources said.
Mayawati alleged here today that Mustafa was receiving threats to his life from Samajwadi Party workers and demanded proper security cover for him.
