Sept 06: Justine Henin-Hardenne was put on a drip on Friday night after suffering dehydration following her semi-final victory in the US Open. The Belgian second seed was treated by medical staff for cramp after her three-set semi-final victory over American Jennifer Capriati.
She is due to meet top seed and fellow Belgian Kim Clijsters in the final which is scheduled to start at 0100 BST (Sunday). But a statement from the WTA Tour said that Henin's fitness would be re-evaluated on Saturday afternoon.
Henin-Hardenne said she should have called a trainer during her three-hour, three-minute match with Capriati but said fears of attracting criticism stopped her.

Henin-Hardenne has attracted criticism especially in the US after her French Open semi-final victory over Serena Williams when the pair disagreed over whether a point should be replayed.
