Jaisalmer, Aug 07: Security has been tightened along the International Border in Rajasthan ahead of Independence Day, official sources said here today. The BSF and state police have been alerted in Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Sriganganagar and Barmer districts following intelligence reports that Pakistan's ISI trained agents or human suicide bombers could sneak into the country to create law and order problems, the sources said.
"There is a foolproof system along the border and no one can either sneak or create any trouble in the bordering districts of the state," they said, adding in Gujarat also, the BSF was in full swing to check any foreign activity along the border. In last six months, six intruders were shot down by the BSF and a few were apprehended, the sources added. The police have been keeping a close vigil on railway stations, bus stands and activities of foreigners. Bureau Report
