New Delhi: The megastar of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan, who has inspired generations together with his demeanour and acting prowess, has spoken about the latest ongoing 'Udta Punjab' controversy.

As the row escalated, Anurag Kashyap along with Bollywood actors and filmmakers, conducted a meeting to address the issue.


Adding to the row, Amitabh was quoted saying in ANI report as, ''I am not aware of the issue, but would like to say that don't try to kill creativity'''.


Further, he said: ''Film makers can approach tribunal and courts, only problem is censoring comes near the release of a film.''


 


''Killing creativity will kill our soul'', added Bachchan.


The press conference was held to address the on-going row, and the filmmakers came forward and took a stand against the Censor Board chief, Pahlaj Nihalani.


A big section of Bollywood stood up including 'Udta Punjab' producer Anurag Kashyap, veteran cinematographers Mukesh Bhatt, Suresh Trivedi, Zoya Akhtar and actor Satish Kaushik.


The movie stars Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh.
