New Delhi, June 19: Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Kalyan Singh tonight disagreed with the Centre's contention that there was no contingency plan to tackle the eventuality of demolition of the disputed structure in
Ayodhya.
He told a TV network that if one opens the files one can find out whether there was any contingency plan or not. Adequate security measures were taken as for the day although nobody had imagined that the structure would be pulled down.
Singh said the Centre was trying to pass the blame on the then state government in UP headed by him in order to "save" senior BJP leaders.
He said if there was any "secret" agenda of the Sangh Parivar and BJP on that day, I was not aware of it.
