New Delhi, July 08: British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw will pay a second visit to India in about seven weeks on July 19 to hold wide-ranging talks with the Indian leadership on the current state of Indo-Pak relations. Straw, who will be here for a day, would meet the new external affairs minister Yashwant Sinha and other Indian leader, official sources said today.
Straw had held discussions with Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Home Minsiter L K Advani and then external affairs minister Jaswant Singh on May 29 focussing mainly on Pakistan-backed cross-border terrorism and the stand off along the borders.
The sources said the details of the British Foreign Secretary's programme were being worked out.
Asked about terrorist infiltration across the border into Jammu and Kashmir, they said there has been no satisfactory development and the government was continuing to monitor the situation on the ground.
