Srinagar, Oct 02: Two Lashkar-e-Toiba militants and a shopkeeper were killed in separate incidents in Kashmir valley today, official sources said. Two LeT militants were killed in an encounter which broke out during a combing operation at Hakbarra-Malangam in Baramulla district of north Kashmir, they said. Security forces, acting on a tip-off, cordoned the village early in the morning. When the cordon was tightened around a particular house where militants were hiding, the ultras opened fire on the security forces and in the ensuing gunbattle two militants were killed, they said.

The house used by militants as their hideout was also damaged in the gun-battle, the sources said.
Militants shot at and critically wounded a shopkeeper, Manzoor Ahmad Zargar, at Kreeri Bazar in Baramulla district this morning. Zargar was declared brought dead by the doctors in a local hospital.
