Anurag Kashyap, Kalki Koechlin legally separated!
Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin , who had applied for divorce in October last year, after announcing their unofficial separation a year prior to that, are now legally divorced, reports suggest.
Mumbai: Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin , who had applied for divorce in October last year, after announcing their unofficial separation a year prior to that, are now legally divorced, reports suggest.
A family court pronounced them legally separated Tuesday morning. The two had reportedly reached the court together.
Anurag and Kalki are believed to have fallen in love while shooting for ‘Dev D’, in which the latter had played a pivotal role.
The couple had got married on April 30, 2011. It was Anurag’s second marriage.
Taking the onus of a failed marriage with Kalki, Anurag while interacting with the media had earlier said, “Kalki is a great actress. What happened between us, why we went separate ways... all that remains between us. But she gave me six years of her life. I respect her for what she is; she really changed my life. Even if she left me, it's because the shortcoming is in me... I am not good at relationships.”
And added, “there is no bigger loss that Kalki is not with me today.”
The two are cordial with each other despite the divorce.
