Mumbai, May 31: Dhara Vegetable Oils and Foods Company Ltd (DOFCO) has terminated the sole selling agency agreement with Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd (GCMMF). DOFCO intends to appoint Mother Dairy Foods Processing Ltd (MDFL) as the distribution agency for marketing its Dhara brand of edible oil, the Vadodara-based entity said in a release here on Friday.
GCMMF was the sole selling agent for Dhara since 1989.
DOFCO managing director A Srivastava said, "GCMMF not lifting the stocks of Dhara from depots in the last few weeks has led to its shortage and pile up of inventories of packed oil with co-operative unions.” Bureau Report
