Bangalore, Nov 03: Air Vice-Marshall S Radhakrishnan today took over as the senior officer-in-charge administration of the headquarters training command of the Indian Air Force here. Defence Academy Air Vice-Marshall Radhakrishnan was commissioned into the IAF in June 1970 in the fighter stream. The officer has around 4,000 hours of flying to his credit on various fighter variants, a Defence Ministry release said.
For his distinguished service, he was also awarded the "Ati Vishist Seva Medal" in January 2002 by the President.
Prior to the present appointment he was the Principal Director of Offensive Operations at Air Headquarters, New Delhi, the release added.
