Musharraf`s pro-US foreign policy in tatters: JI
Islamabad, Sept 16: Pakistan`s hardline Jamat- e- Islami party agitating against President Pervez Musharraf`s continuing as President and army chief has claimed his pro-US foreign policy was in `tatters`, as United States `leaned more towards India`.

Khurshid Ahmad, a senior leader of Jamaat-e-Islami said in a
statement here.
"General Pervez Musharaf's foreign policy is in tatters. United States attitude towards Pakistan, despite friendly words for General, is becoming more and more problematic, if not outrageous. Friendship is always mutual and reciprocal, not one-sided," he said.
JI is part of the six-party Islaimist alliance, Muthahida Majlis Amal (MMA) which is demanding that Musharraf quit as Chief of Army as a compromise to accept his presidency and constitutional amendments.
