Patna, Nov 15: Senior Congress leader and working committee member Arjun Singh today said his party would review its alliance with the its and the conditional support to the government in Bihar after the completion of the assembly elections in four states. Singh, who is also in the party's policy making body, said here that the decision in this regard would be taken after discussing the tie-up at the party's proper forum.
He, however, admitted that the party's grassroots workers in Bihar were opposed to the tie-up differing with the top leaders over the issue.
He said the possibility of reviewing an alliance was always open in coalition politics and Congress had not entered into the alliance with the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) under any pressure.
Singh said no one was satisfied with Bihar's law and order situation and the improvement in this regard was one of the prime conditions over which the congress had extended conditional support to the RJD government.
