Mild tremors with the magnitude of 2.9 on Richter scale were felt in the adjoining Thane region at 1.39 am Friday, according to Colaba Observatory sources. The epicentre was in Thane region of Maharashtra with latitude 19.1 degree north and longitude 73.0 degree east. Tremors were felt at Borivali, Meera Road, Bhayander, Mulund and Thane, sources added.
