Ahmedabad, Dec 03: A forest department official at Palanpur range in Banaskantha district of north Gujarat has been booked for amassing wealth against known sources of income, Anti Corruption Bureau sources said here today. Kirtikumar Patel, serving as assistant conservator of forests, had allegedly amassed wealth to the tune of nearly Rs 45 lakh deposited in the name of his wife, children and father in bank accounts, lockers and post office. The ACB sleuths found fixed deposits reciepts to the tune of Rs 28,68,367 in the name of his father in Sanand town near here along with one and a half kgs of gold ornaments and large amount of cash from his residence.
