Crawford (Texas) Aug 26: US President George W Bush has condemned twin car bomb blasts in Mumbai which killed at least 47 people and left 143 injured, and said he hoped those responsible would swiftly be caught.

"I strongly condemn the bombings," he said in a
statement. "On behalf of all Americans, I send condolences to
all affected by today's tragedy and to the government and
people of India."
