The 'Hero No 1' actor said that the relationship that he shared with Dhawan was marred by the fact that the director did not stand by him during bad times.

Although the actor wished that they live a healthy life and the love shared between them remains the same, he added that he does not want to discuss films with Dhawan anymore.

David last cast his son Varun Dhawan in 'Tu Mera Hero', for which most of the critics as well as audiences compared the young Varun to Govinda as he followed the veteran actor's style and mannerisms in the film.

We do wish the two would bury the hatchet and do at least one more film together. After all, they have given us some memorable comedies in the decade.
