Jammu, Mar 31: Heavily armed militants today attacked an Indian Reserve Police post injuring six personnel, two of them seriously, in Rajouri hills of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources here said. Militants opened heavy fire and hurled grenades at the Shadara Sharief post from surrounding hills around 1845 hours, the sources said. IRP personnel retaliated and the exchange of fire continued for sometime following which the militants escaped, they said. Six personnel were injured in the attack and were admitted to Rajouri Hospital where the condition of two was stated to be critical, the sources said. Additional force has been rushed to the area and a hunt launched for the militants.
