Arunachal CM for promoting sporting activities among youth
Itanagar, Nov 05: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Gegong Apang today exhorted the student community to devote to studies and make useful contribution for all round development of the state.
Itanagar, Nov 05: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Gegong Apang today exhorted the student community to devote to studies and make useful contribution for all round development of the state.
Speaking as chief guest at the 21st annual college week celebration at Dera Natung Government College here, Apang said the state government would encourage sports and cultural activities among the youth.
Apang urged the student community to dedicate themselves to studies and be able to make useful contribution to the development process of Arunachal. He said the state government will make allocation of fund for construction of a stadium at the government college so that national and regional level sports meet could be held in the state capital.
The Chief Minister handed over a cheque for Rs 50,000 to the General Secretary of the students' union techi tahe tara for the celebration.
Principal Uma DU requested the state government to extend cooperation to the college for improving the infrastructure facilities of the college. Bureau Report
