The miscreants, who attacked the personnel after boarding the bus at a nearby place under bind police station, looted four rifles and several rounds of ammunition before getting down, police said.
The criminals shot dead jawan Vijay Kumar when he refused to hand over his firearm as asked and tried to resist, police said.

The passengers were safe as the gang did not attack them.
