Biharsharif, Sept 14: One homeguard was killed when unidentified miscreants attacked homeguard jawans escorting a bus near Nauranga village of Bihar's Nalanda district late last night, police said today.
The miscreants, who attacked the personnel after boarding the bus at a nearby place under bind police station, looted four rifles and several rounds of ammunition before getting down, police said.
The criminals shot dead jawan Vijay Kumar when he refused to hand over his firearm as asked and tried to resist, police said.

The homeguard Jawans were escorting the private bus from Biharsharif to bind.
The passengers were safe as the gang did not attack them.
The authorities sealed the borders and launched massive manhunt to nab the gang.
