India on Thursday declined to comment on the referendum in Pakistan in which General Pervez Musharraf received a landslide mandate to continue as president of the country for the next five years. ''We have seen the results of the April 30 referendum. We have no comments to offer,'' a spokesperson for the external affairs ministry said.
President Musharraf had received an overwhelming 98 per cent vote in his favour in the referendum, which had been termed by the opposition in Pakistan as 'exaggerated and fake'.
