Riteish had made his Marathi film debut with Nishikant Kamat`s 'Lai Bhaari'. At the trailer launch of "Great Grand Masti", when asked if his Marathi film audiences would be disappointed about him doing a sex comedy, Riteish said, "I don`t think so, because that (`Lai Bhaari`) released the next year after `Grand Masti`. I feel that as an actor I get the opportunity to do various kinds of genres, adult and naughty comedy being one of them."

"I don`t look down on any genre for that matter and I am happy that `Grand Masti` was a successful film and that`s the reason we`re coming back with `Great Grand Masti`. I am happy that `Lai Bhaari` was successful. I got the chance to do `Ek Villain`, which was completely different and that also did well. I am okay, I guess audiences have been very kind towards me and I thank them all."

Riteish had claimed that he won`t do sex comedies, apparently after the birth of his first son. When asked about what prompted him to go back to it, Ritesh said, "Induji. I think my love for Indra Kumar is much more than my promises in life."

Director of the film Indra Kumar thanked Riteish saying, "Riteish had sworn that `I would not do a sex comedy.` But looking at my innocent face he agreed."

Riteish recently became a father for the second time. Did he think about the fact that his son would watch his sex comedies when he grows up? "When I do films I do it because it`s important for me how I feel about the films. I am an actor and I am making movies so Riaan can watch some two years from now and some after 18 years."

"Let him watch them. If he likes them fine and if he doesn`t like them that`s also fine. I am thinking that every person will be an individual to decide for themselves. I am not embarrassed about any of my work."

"Great Grand Masti" also stars Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani and Urvashi Rautela.
