ICA to open 200 centres to offer computrerised a/c training
New Delhi, Oct 05: Institute of Computer Accountants (ICA) plans to open 200 centres in India by next March to impart computerised training to accountants and accounting students.
New Delhi, Oct 05: Institute of Computer Accountants (ICA) plans to open 200 centres in India by next March to impart computerised training to accountants and accounting students.
ICA, which is based on the lines of European and US accounting standards, has 70 centres in India spread in West Bengal, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, J&K, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Orissa, a company statement said here.
ICA recently added its ninth centre in Delhi and plans to set up 20 exclusive institutes in delhi NCR by the end of this year, he said. The admission is given to 10+2 students and the course lasts between four months and one year with fee ranging from Rs 8500 to Rs 22500.
"Although a lot of private sector companies have started using computers for their accounting, this chain of exclusive computerised accounting training institutes will cater to only accountants and accounting students, it said adding the institutes offers job placements for accounting and taxation students and accountants.
