Navada (Bihar), July 01: Four hard core activists of banned Maoist Communist Centre were arrested after a fierce encounter with police in Girgi village tonight, police said. Acting on a tip-off police, raided the village to nab the ultras. Finding them encircled by the police, the MCC activists opened fire forcing the security forces to retaliate. After an encounter lasting over two hours, police arrested the four MCC ultras. As many as 14 detonators, two live bombs and several rounds of ammunition, flr magazine and naxal literature were recovered from the encounter site, police said.
