Coimbatore, Nov 28: The second Indo-Czech Textile Research Conference would be held here from today.
The theme of the two-day conference would be 'Advances in textile product, process and machinery engineering', R Krishnamurthy, vice-principal of Kumaraguru College of Technology, the organisers, told reporters here on Nov 25.
A Czech delegation, headed by J Militky, of Technical University and Research Institute for Textile Machinery, Liberec (Czech Republic), would present their research works on the occasion, he said.
The conference is being jointly organised by Faculty of Textile Engineering of Technical University, Liberec, Czech Research Institute for Textile Machinery, Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association, Mumbai, and South India Mills Association.
The effort was expected to become a trend-setter in unifying and converging textile research in India, he said.



Eleven textile engineering colleges from India would present their papers at the conference.
