Wimpy owner declared proclaimed offender
Kharar, Nov 03: A local court today declared four persons, including owner of Wimpy, an international chain of fast food, proclaimed offenders in a graft case against former Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal and others.

persons, including owner of Wimpy, an international chain of
fast food, proclaimed offenders in a graft case against former
Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal and others.
Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate B K Bhatia issued the
order declaring Wimpy owner Kanwaljit Singh Sidhu, said to be
a close friend of Badal’s, Krishan Kumar, PA to Rajya Sabha MP
and Badal's son Sukhbir, Hardeep Singh Bamra, OSD to Badal,
and Pinki Grover, an alleged ex-hawala operator, as proclaimed
offenders.
The order against them was issued after the four failed to appear before the court.
Earlier, non-bailable arrest warrants issued against them by a court here were returned unexecuted.
