Jeetendra, 73, who appeared in many hit romantic movies of 1970s-80's, was at the launch of "Viaan Mobiles" named after the three-year-old son of actress Shilpa Shetty and her businessman husband Raj Kundra.

"I don't know how youngsters handle mobile phones today. In our times there were no mobile phones so we had a gala time. If we had phones then there was fear of getting caught," the 73-year-old actor said.

"I remember sending telegraph to my wife Shobha that time saying 'I love her' and in return she had said 'fake'. I use 'Whatsapp' today but I keep only those things that she can read," he said.

During the launch Shilpa said that their aim was to come up with pocket friendly range of mobile phones.

"India is the second largest consumer of mobile phones and 80 percent of the people buy phones that are below Rs 10,000. We have Viaan Mobiles for them," Shilpa Shetty said.
