Kolkata, Mar 9 Indian cricket coach John Wright today said the team was capable of creating history in Pakistan.
Talking to the press prior to leaving for Pakistan enroute Delhi, Wright said, ``We have played well over the last few months. Its for no reason that we are the second best ODI side in the world. We have done well in the world cup and the ICC Champions Trophy and the team has a lot of self-belief to do well. I am sure this team can create history in Pakistan.``
Wright said ``We have come together as a force and are playing well away from home. We will try to continue the good work in Pakistan.``
``We have nothing to lose. We have everything to gain from this tour. Its a great opportunity for India to force a favourable result and the team will relish the challenge,`` he added. Asked if the team had to make any special preparations, the soft spoken Kiwi said, ``We have to make some adjustments to their actions. The boys are all playing very well. Ashish Nehra and Yuvraj Singh have also had good matches in the Duleep Trophy and so the whole team is all geared up for the series.`` Bureau Report
