One killed, 28 injured in grenade blast in Baramulla
Srinagar, Sept 10: One person was killed and 28 others injured when militants exploded a grenade targeting an army convoy on Srinagar-Baramulla National Highway today, official sources said.

army convoy on Srinagar-Baramulla National Highway today,
official sources said.
Militants lobbed the grenade at an army vehicle, part of
a convoy, in Pattan township of Baramulla district late this
afternoon.
The grenade, after hitting the vehicle, rebounded and
fell on the main road, injuring 29 pedestrians, the sources
said.
The injured were admitted to hospital where one of them, identified as Gurmeet Singh, succumbed to his injuries.
No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the blast so far.
