Mehndi brothers` wives withdraw bail pleas
Patiala, Oct 22: The wives of Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi and his brother Shamsher withdrew their pleas for anticipatory bail filed in a local court in connection with a human-trafficking case against the two brothers and three others recently.

Mehndi and his brother Shamsher withdrew their pleas for
anticipatory bail filed in a local court in connection with a
human-trafficking case against the two brothers and three
others recently.
The court of Additional Sessions Judge K C Puri dismissed
as withdrawn the applications for anticipatory bail filed by
Daljit Kaur and Balwinder Kaur, wives of Daler Mehndi and
Shamsher, who is presently in judicial custody.
The case was registered on October six against Mehndi brothers and others after one Bakshish Singh, a resident of Belwara village in the district alleged that he had paid Rs 13 lakh out of the Rs 15 lakh demanded for sending him abroad in musical troupe, which was not done.
