First Ambassador Cup won jointly by Spanish, Argentine envoys
Srinagar, May 18: Spanish envoy Don Rafael Conde and Argentine envoy Briotos jointly lifted the first Ambassadors Golf Cup Kashmir 2003 played at the picturesque Royal Springs golf course here yesterday.

In the non-diplomat section, the team comprising Najamus Saqib and Lennort Johanasson won the first prize. The individual prize was grabbed by Vinod Wazir.
Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed gave away the prizes at the conclusion of the championship that opened here this morning at the course situated in the lap of Zabarwan Hills overlooking the world famous Dal Lake.
Ten envoys from different countries were among the 50 ace golfers who participated in the tournament, organised by the state tourism department to focus on Kashmir tourism.
Minister for tourism and housimg Ghulam Hassan Mir, minister of state for tourism Ghulam Ahmad Mir and minister of state for power Javeed Mustaffa Mir presented momentos to the participants.
