Inquiry ordered into break-in at DRDO establishment
New Delhi, Oct 15: Concerned over a break-in at one of the most sensitive Defence Research and Development Organisation establishments in the capital, the Defence Ministry today instituted a one-man inquiry committee headed by Additional Secretary Ranjit Issar to probe it.

Ministry today instituted a one-man inquiry committee headed
by Additional Secretary Ranjit Issar to probe it.
A ministry announcement said that the probe will go into
the lapses that occurred resulting in the theft of 19 computer
disks containing classified material, fix responsibility and
suggest remedial measures to plug security loopholes.
The inquiry which will also suggest measures to improve present security arrangements at all sensitive establishments is expected to submit its report very soon, officials said.
