Pondicherry, Oct 29: Professor A K Bhatnagar of the Central University of Hyderabad today assumed charge as Vice Chancellor of Pondicherry University, also a central university. As the fourth incumbent of the post, he succeeds Dr V T Patil, who demitted office on August 06 following completion of the statutory period of five years. During the interim period, the dean of School of Management in the university, S V Narayanan, was looking after the post.
