Jammu, Mar 16: Pakistani forces resorted to artillery shelling along the Line of Control in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir today injuring four persons, official sources said. Artillery shells and mortar bombs were fired in Digwar in Poonch, where two days ago Pak troops killed five Army jawans. Shells were also fired in Dalion, Sukhi and Jallas areas, they said. The injured have been identified as Mohammed Akbar, Saab Jan, Mohammed Abbas and Sher Mohammad of Digwar village, they said. Pak forces had fired 60 and 81 mm mortar bombs and small arms around midnight last night, on civilian and defence locations the area, resulting in panic, sources said.

The shelling continued till this afternoon, sources said, adding Indian troops also retaliated causing heavy damage to Pakistani forces and killing some.
