The Telugu Desam Parliamentary Party (TDPP) would meet in Hyderabd on Sunday to chalk out the strategy on the twin issues of leadership change in Gujarat and the party's stand on accepting Lok Sabha Speaker's post, fallen vacant due to death of G M C Balayogi in March.
With the signals emanating from BJP's national executive meet in Goa not finding favour with the TDP, the party is adopting a "wait and watch" policy.
"We prefer to wait for the final outcome (of the Goa meeting) before firming up our stand," party sources said.
TDP supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had, on Thursday, made an unequivocal demand for replacement of Modi to restore public confidence.
