Jammu, Apr 22: The BJP in Jammu and Kashmir has strongly opposed the Centre's interlocutor N N Vohra talking to separatist groups which do not abide by Indian Constitution and wage war against the country. BJP state unit president Nirmal Singh, while talking to reporters here last evening, said the party strongly opposes holding of dialogue with secessionist elements and expressed hope that the Centre's interlocuter will fulfill the party's demand by not holding talk with such elements. Vohra, who is on a week long visit to the state, should also take into consideration the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Ladakh region as they have been subjected to regional discrimination by successive governments since 1947, he alleged. Advocating the cause of Jammu and Ladakh regions, the pradesh BJP chief said there was a need to change the Kashmir-centric setup as it the basic cause of friction between Kashmiris and Jammuites.
