Jodhpur, Apr 10: The main witness in the poaching case against film actor Salman Khan is not traceable for cross examination, prosecution has informed a local court. Judicial Magistrate Narsingh Das Vyas was told during the hearing of the case yesterday that witness Harish Dulani, who was driving khan's vehicle during the alleged illegal hunting of protected wild animals in September-October 1998, near here, was not traceable.
The court had earlier issued warrant against Dulani asking the police to produce him on next hearing after he failed to appear for his cross examination a few months back.

Dulani had deposed before the court that Khan shot black bucks and chinkaras near Bhawad village while shooting for the film 'Hum saath saath hain'. However, he failed to appear in the court when he was scheduled to be cross examined by the defence counsel.
The court was told that on inquiry, police was informed by his neighbour that Dulani had left the place along with his wife and son without telling them his new address. His relatives also expressed their ignorance about his whereabouts.

Meanwhile, the court allowed comedian Satish Shah, another accused in the poaching case, to go abroad to attend his son's engagement and for a medical check up.
Next hearing in the case has been fixed for May 2 and 3.
